The Course:
If you are demonstrating above standard English work for your year level, you may be recommended for this unit. The pace will be faster, some of the reading material will be more complex and you will be expected to show more insight into characters, themes and issues with your written and oral activities. Reading will include responding to contemporary and classical narratives and plays, as well as media and electronic texts. Students are selected for this subject based on recommendation by their teachers.
