Unit 3 Students will further develop their analysis and interpretation skills to be able to compare and contrast artworks from a variety of cultures and timeframes. On completion of the unit, students will be able to apply the design process to develop personal ideas, explore varied media, and materials, as well as reflect on their art-making skills and how they can improve their work.
In Unit 4, students will discuss and debate art issues using selected artist(s) works in conjunction with the help of commentaries about the artwork. Students will progressively develop their personal ideas and concepts in a body of work, that contains at least one finished work, that has been supported by regular reflections and annotations explaining their inspirations as well as their use of the art elements and principles.
