The Course:

This unit is part of the 8HOL Program. It aims to expose students to learning opportunities that cover cross-curricular content (humanities and health) with a focus on workplace, community, leadership, team work personal management and relationship skills.

Each term has a different focus.
Term 1 the main focus relates to “Where is our journey going?”, Term 2 is “What affects the health of me and my earth?” Term 3 is “What makes community?” And Term 4 focuses on “What’s out there in the future?”.

Learning and Assessment Activities

Students will do a range of learning activities in order to learn the content.

These include:
-In class learning activities
-Hands on tasks
-Community participation
-Excursions
-Camps

These units lead to

Students can go back into the appropriate level of humanities or apply to get into the TPP program

Special considerations: Only students is 8 Hands On Learning are eligible for this subject.
