This course is designed for the majority of year 8 students. It follows on directly from Maths 100 and provides instruction in a wide range of general mathematical concepts. This course recognizes that students may be working towards Maths 200 from a variety of starting points and that each student presents with different learning styles, study skills and general interests. Major topics of study include Directed number, Real number, Linear equations, Algebra, Coordinates Geometry, Measurements, Geometry, Probability and Statistics.

Mathematics 300 - Students that excel may be recommended for Maths 400.
