The Course:

Students will investigate the health and wellbeing of both the Australian and global communities. They will develop an understanding of and compare key health issues in Australia and around the world. There will be a focus on the steps individuals can take to prevent health problems and health promotion campaigns in Australian communities. They will investigate factors affecting health status, and look at the role of individuals, governments and other agencies in improving global health, particularly in low income (developing) countries.
